1st catch of the year marcus ? Excellent as always

simon, Happy New Year 2013. Yes, first macro shoot for the year. Was alone at venue road, seeking spiders. NO monopod or tripod and that makes it challenging to shoot at 1:1 FOR ME. A few keepers only. Flash light quite hars when I compare to last year shots.

By the way, your landscape shots are awesome and spectacular. Last time we have edutilos and now one addition, simon, who produced consistently nice landscapes images.

3. sort shield insect. colorful leg attract my attention

4. sort of butterfly to be???? nice due to water droplets on it

5. this insect i thought is collecting his baby.. after closer look during edit ... found out all is ants body.. stock up on dinner.. eeeeek

Vile assassin bug..They did this to ward off enemies/predator,so they will eat the dead ants instead..

looks like a few pentaxians were out shooting on the first day of 2013...i was doing street photography at Arab St where i chanced upon a model shoot..alongside the model, there was this cute little girl so while the photographer was shooting the model, i was busy taking pics of the little girl
