Hi Andrew.
It was AFC+Multi Segment Metering.
Focal Length 148mm, Speed 1/1000sec, f4.5 & ISO125.

Thanks Ben.

My bad..I meant AFC.

The reason for asking was that at a football game few months back. I was trying to use the AFC + 5 AF point focusing. The AF points was running everywhere, perhaps should have kept at the center AF point. Anyway, found that I was a terrible sports photographer as i spent more time watching and cheering than shooting.

Went to the Zoo today with Oliver and this trip was definitely my best zoo trip so far in terms of photographic opportunities

K-5 & Sigma 170-500 APO. Stopped down to f/8 this lens gets sharp enough to resolve the fur detail, although it's not as sharp as the superb Tamron 70-200 that I'm used to. Even on a monopod, the shutter speed should be kept high. I stuck with 1/250s which worked fine for the monopod shots but not for the handheld shots, which had some slight handshake blur when zoomed in. The aperture and shutter speed requirements necessitate the use of high ISO especially under shade. Best to only use it with the newer cameras, like the K-5 which can happily shoot at ISO3200 with minimal noise. Anything before K20D, better to avoid a lens like this. Also, TAv mode is very useful when using this lens on the K-5.

Found this weird round pattern when shooting into the light :dunno:

K-x, K 135mm f2.5

I was surprised to meet two fellow pentaxians during night festival, one was using white k-x(r) and tamron, and the other was using film camera and FA* 28-70. Are you here bros?

Yes, it's me :)

My bad, it's quite dark and I couldn't recognize your camera correctly :bsmilie:

The ring pattern of the lens flare comes about because the spot light has a fresnel lens to increase or decrease the projected size of the light beam.

Lol. No problem, bro. Nice seeing you around. OOoo so the soft, the sharp, the blue fringing collections of 85mm lenses of yours is sweet. Nice collections. ;)

Think maybe too dark, you notice my camera look like this.. :bsmilie:

Yup yup, you are correct. It's a K5 silver... Hee .

A photo taken with a SMC Pentax F50mm/f1.7... Not a technically well taken shot but I enjoy the rich colour and the background blur produced by this lens.
It has been awhile, struggling whether to sell it or keep it. Eventually made up my mind to sell it as most of the time I find it too tight.
