Hi there, I'm new to photoshop cs and I don't know why my photos appears brigher than the one being viewd by windows pictures and fax viewer... here's some example.

I tried a search over the forums here as well as online, but still couldn't find the problem of this... The strange thing is that I didn't get this kinda effect in my previous photoshop 7.
Anyone knows how to fix this ? or is it the programme's nature ?
help would be much appericiated..
