After successfully launching in 2006, Arles Photo Folio Review & Gallery organise Portfolio Reviews for photographers during the opening week of the
Rencontres dArles, with the possibility of showing their work.
Photo Folio Review
From 712 July 2009, amidst the excitement of the festivals opening week, photographers will have the opportunity to submit their work to more than 80 leading international photography experts from various fields: publishers, exhibition curators, museum, agency, and gallery directors, collectors, art directors
Enrolling in the event gives access to one or several series of 10 reviews with chosen experts (20 minutes each). In this course of 20-minute individual sessions, photographers will be given a critical assessment, together with advice and contacts relevant to their work.
Photo Folio Gallery
At the end of the opening week, the reviewers will vote for the 5 best portfolios.
* Exhibition of the favourite portfolio at the Rencontres dArles 2010
* Exhibition of the 5 best Portfolios in the Fnac Galleries
* Publication of one of the best portfolios in the November issue of Images Magazine
Photo Folio Review & Gallery is organised with the support of the Fnac, Marseille Provence 2013 European Capital of Culture, Janvier photo lab and Images Magazine.
