The river boat also made a stop at Wat Pho, home of the famous reclining buddha in Bangkok. Due to the River Festival the temple was opened at night for visitors and, unlike during the day, admission was free to see the reclining buddha. Also there was a temple fair and stage performances with traditional Thai orchestra and performers.
