My Philips 24" monitor was collected back for repairs on 14th March. It was returned today - almost 3 months later. They called me earlier & said they will give me a new monitor as mine is beyond repairs. The returned monitor was manufactured in 2007 & my previous monitor was manufactured in 2010 -you called that new. Anyway I will definitely not get another Philips monitor again. In fact I will lay off all Philips products.

which model number was it?
Could be already out of production so no choice but give you what New-Old-Stock they have?

A few of my friends working in Philips were retrenched for quite some time.
They say business not doing well, had to sell the TV division.
So maybe Ed9119 is correct
