pentax shops in ho chi minh and hanoi?

Hi,

I guess someone posted before but i think the thread no longer available. May i know any shops in Ho chi Minh and Hanoi carry pentax lenses?

i will be in HCM for nearly 3 weeks in this coming week so I am curious how much they price the lenses there

I am aware there is a distributor in Vietnam located in HCM responsible for distributing lenses and camera:

don't waste time searching for pentax dslr gear in vn.
they carry mostly p&s cam & acessories.
getting aiv lens in vn faced with limited range and price???
better spend time shooting in vn.

Tixiai is well known in HCMC for Pentax, most Pentaxian in HCMC knew them. www.xomnhiepanh.com is a very good forum to buy second hand lens, but in Vietnamese. It is also cheaper than Singapore if buying 2nd hand ones, example, I can find good 35ltd look like new for around $500 here, or 70ltd for $450 (not many for sale though). Especially the MF lens and those M42, there are many many good ones here for cheap, I meant, CHEAP!

Lastly, if you look to buy brandnew, then Vietnam is NOT a good place to buy. But if you come to HCMC and look for 2nd hand lens, I can help you out with Vietnamese - English translation from the forum, or help you to search and arrange the seller.
