Newbie to FTP. Been trying to upload some pictures to my pacific internet homepage (the free 5 mb one) but no matter how i permutate the address, i can't seem to be able to link the images uploaded to the CS webpage.

This is what i did. Uploaded to:

1) "root directory" and
2) "\public_html\my_folder"

Have tried http://home.pacific.net.sg/~tert/file.jpg and http://home.pacific.net.sg/~tert/public_html/file.jpg but to no avail.

Any PacNet users can help?

Thank Edmund and Hanoman.

I did not upload any homepage or html files. I'm intending to use it just to store image files. There's only one file in the folder above, i.e. sheeps.jpg.

Hanoman: Tried pachome1 but nil.

Your help is appreciated.

maybe u can first check out if it can just link to the pic but not the page.

u create a webpage first....then if u can reach the page but not the pic url directly, meaning cannot just store pic.

if pic uploaded to \public_html\, use home.pacific.net.sg/~your_username/something.jpg

test.jpg

If pic uploaded to \public_html\my_folder, use home.pacific.net.sg/~your_username/my_folder/something.jpg

test.jpg

If both still fails, check if u have uploaded ur picture correctly~ :)
