output seems to be dark

Guys, lately my pics from my d70s seems to be dark when i view it in the computer. I using a sreal v2 custom curves. At times during bright day.. the pics seeems to be a bit dark too.. Anyone facing this prob?

check exposure, did you set it to minus? also in bright day light, the cam will auto compensate, thus you will get dark pics if you didnt balance it out.

It also depends on what metering you are using. Are you using spot, center or matrix? I normally use spot.

There's no metering that is 100% fool-proof. Neither is there one that fits for all-situation.

Best is to go on full manual.

if you want to over-compensate on a bright day, sometimes, you might over-expose the shot. happened to me quite a few times liao. if this happens, rather difficult to correct it later.

yo bro, talking about monito calibrate, the guy at CP try selling me something to calibrate the monitor.... what are those thing and how muchy.... that time interested only in len, never ask him further on this....
