Opinion needed: Canon G11 or Samsung EX1?

Both are consider prosumer class, which one would you choose at the end of the day?

If only choosing between these 2 then it's Samsung EX1

Reason - Cost vs performance
Current price for EX1 should be low 600?
its even cheaper then LX3, which is already 2 years old ?

G11 is too pricey and big ...
plus the lens is slower compared to LX3 and EX1

The only thing i don't like about EX1 is that the lens cover is not build in.
plus no HD video recording

ex1 is below 600 if u look hard enough ...... i believe.... some have mentioned SLR-Revolution
