THE BERTRAND LEE APPEAL FILM SCREENING

Early this year, a young and upcoming film director called Bertrand Lee met with a serious accident, resulting in the amputation of his left leg, while on a filming assignment in India. To help Bertrand, a group of concerned individuals in the local film community, have gotten together to launch an appeal effort ("The Bertrand Lee Appeal") to raise funds to meet the medical expenses as well as for his long-term rehabilitation needs.

As part of the appeal efforts, a film screening showcasing two of Bertrand's award-winning short films, TRISHAW and BIRTHDAY, is being held on Tue 5 July 2005, 9.00pm at GV Grand, Great World City. All proceeds from the screening will go towards the appeal, and we look forward to your generous support of the event.
