yo eng hong!

was at your exhibition this morning, 9am, ghost town at NUS museum.
pretty good stuff man. :thumbsup:

really surprised u used only coolpix 5700 and canon A100? canon A100?? some pic were really noisy, i supposed it because of the A3 enlargement etc yeah? u've needed more megapixels. couldn't really tell its winter from most of the shots, no snow? (is there supposed to be snow in sze chuan?). could only tell the cold from the bare trees and the thick clothes the locals wear.

under your circumstances, i think you did the best to potray the landscapes. for the city shoots, i feel some of the shots could be better cropped.

nevertheless, a very inspiring exhibition. makes me wanna to china, the turquiose waters was like..OMG! . i had only wanted to go when i'm...like much older.

my fav pic is the one with the sun at 45deg high, with a large leaf less tree in the foreground. i took it with my T610, but havent' u/l yet. u shld u/l ya pics and show CS'ers man, and really prove what makes a photograph is the photographer.

Hi di0nysus,

the noise came out after the tweaking..........didn't mind it cos it gave the effect i wanted to potray...........a hazy, unclear feeling........there weren't any snow cos it all turned into ice...........if you look carefully the waterfalls were all ice...........crop pictures?..........erh.......not word in my dictionary.........the pictures were taken like that and thats it........only tweak the contrast and brightness and curves..........and all the pics only had one copy dur to the fact that i only had 2 64Mb cards with me..........so can only afford one shot one scene........."i took it with my T610".........hmm, should i sue u for copyright violation??...........=p........that's the main reason y i did not post it online.............=>..........aniwae glad i inspired you in some way or other............like i did with the bunch of 30+ St John cadets today.........now got now voice.............=p

Btw, the pictures will be up till tue then Museum will tell me if they can extend it for another week. and the crowd at museum is based on timing...........on fri 12noon, there was on one and i was happily doing my tutorials and suddenly a hugh crowd appeared and the next thing i knew, it was 3pm................=>..........and also the pic u like, Li Yuan also commented it..........=>

Oh yeah, we're going to flood the NUS Co-op photo store and demand discount for films and prints...looks like the Science Co-op one is easier to manipulate...all of us block the passageway to the photocopying machines until they give us $0.25 for 4R prints and free film...

23rd May 04 Singapore Botanic Gardens; Meeting Point - Holland Rd Entrance 9am

NUSPS has also acquired new camera equipment(10 new SLRs, inclusive of 2 DSLR - EOS 300D) for your rental, but they will be reserved for Montage outings before being available for normal loans. Please contact our VP Zong He at viceprez@nusps.org.sg for more details and loans. Please note that camera rentals is only for CURRENT NUSPS Members (not inclusive of NUS Alumni)
