Aiyo, just maximize the use of your A200 first. Shoot in RAW, you can easily use neatimage or noiseninja to reduce noise.

Most people will agree that the Canon cameras have good ISO noise performance, but sometimes at the cost of clipped highlights or flatter colors. This is subjective though.

i also feel canon have flatter colors in jpeg, that's why i think most of them shoot in raw instead and adjust the colors later.
but of cos there are those that like their less saturated colors as well.
