Hi there, since 450D n 40D are using the same Digic III processor with 3.7 pixel density against 3.1 pixel density for the sensor... how great will the nosie control difference be assuming a comparison from ISO 100 to ISO 1600 (max for 450D) in RAW n JPEG... any sample shots between the 2 at different ISO setting?

Thx in advance for the noob question...

The "Digic III" processor is just a marketing name. Realistically, all cameras have a processing engine.

Also, since the Digic processor is a JPEg engine, it should not touch RAW files.

If you want a comparison, it would help to check the reviews, such as dpreview:

simple take the sample images and just assemble them side-by-side in MS Paint or photoshop if you have it.
