Dropped my ND400 while prior to shooting this due to clumsiness while cleaning the filter. Saw the glass bounced right off the filter and onto the floor and my heart sank completely.

what brand is the ND400? so it was broken after the fall?

it's a Hoya HMC, fell from about a metre plus? Not sure how am I going to phrase this, there's a ring within the filter holding the glass in place which cracked and a small portion of it went missing, so the glass was able to displace itself from the filter. No damage to the glass though. The filter could still be assembled since only a small part of the retaining ring was lost and the glass is still intact. Still shooting with it currently. Lucky.
