you can practically get it for free at the nikon club website. just earn enough points and redeem.

thats what i'm trying to do, earn points to redeem a vest from nikon club. probably have to lose some inch to fit into the XL vest ... haha!

Sorry if I OT. I hadn't seen people wearing such vest ard for photo taking. Is it a bit too "act pro" look if one wore in SG?

its the sg weather.

those who wear usually have modified them for practical use.

the best photovest for local usage is actually the SAF SBO (not new LBV)... the pouches after some modification and padding is good for small-medium size lens... you can always opt to replace the ammo pouches with a proper lowepro pouches. and it's ventilating enough.

a photovest is very useful if u have to keep on changing lens mid-event.

Actually I prefer the thinktank steroid belt system with racing harness and skin system bags hanging in the belt.
