Heh. My 950 is still alive and kicking, think the colours are still better than the later Coolpixes. ;)

Well, strike 4D and buy a Kodak DCS14n lor. I don't think the S2Pro/D100 prices are going to drop drastically anytime soon.

Add another $800 and you get yourself a Brand New S2 Pro. ;)

P.S. Come with Charger and Software, but CompactFlash not included.

actually i think it depends on the usage... if it's heavily used (like those used by the press), then the CCD might be fried already. about the price, i think can go down a bit more but it might be worth checking out. no matter what it's still a F5 body and those are built to last.

anyway, that's my 2 cents... :D

how much the charger will cost ? a few hundred ?

anyway I think still ok, if your use is not too demanding...

fps much faster at around 4,
image quality. err.....from what I read can be good, but you'll need to shoot in raw.
AF is definately faster, and there are way more customisable functions on it.

not to meantion a better metering system .......

think of it this way, you can probably get an f100 at 1.6K ? so for another 1K you get an f100 with a digital back.

but like simon said, 800$ more and you get an s2 pro :) hehehe

The charger I think will cost around $180.

$180 sounds a bit cheap for the charger, I'd check that one out.

You don't need to shoot with RAW all the time.

It's a good price, and it's a good camera even if it is 2 generations old. It's also the price of a camera 2 generations old.
In fact, I'm really interested in this camera...

And it comes from a seller in Bulgaria with 2 feedback points.

ahh.... the

"I'm over seas now, just send me the money to be screwed scam" :)

beware beware........

No way. This kind of eBay listing is almost certainly a scam. Its only possible saving grace is that the seller claims to accept escrow payments, but I really doubt that that will be the case. Caveat emptor.
