seriously on digital, I prefer the 60mm for potraits. Do note that its a sharp lens.

Not tried the 105mm for potraits but the 200mm is an overkill I feel personally. You should go to the shops to test them out irregardless.

It's not just a sharp lens. It's an extremely sharp lens.

somethings to note that it is a macro lens..so definitely will hunt...

It's not just a sharp lens. It's an extremely sharp lens.

Very sharp, but need to use a smaller aperture, maybe f8 onwards...

used e 200mm for some of shoot its v.rich in colors and v sharp.but recently got 60mm...i like it....it doesnt give me e back pain kekekeke..:lovegrin:

:think: my AF is quick with this lens when I used a month back on a trip from portaits to macro, in fact almost instantaneous. Not much hunting.

60mm macro is the sharpest in the whole Nikon Macro family. only set-back is the working distance and the extend out during focus.

However if one mounts a 6T on it, it makes it a beautiful combination.

6T is a close up filter by Nikon similar to Canon's 250D and 500D
