any camera to intro? my P&S camera just die.....

looking for DC camera.. not DSLR

Night shooting in what sense? Be specific. Long exposures with tripod? Freeze moving objects with flash? Freeze moving objects without flash?

Guess such compact cam will need to rely on TTL hotshoe flash.

Freezing fast movement in night photo without auxilary lighting, seems hard :dunno:

Errr. Any camera can do that. Just go to the shops, see which one appeals to you the most.

might be looking for a PnS with hotshoe which can fit a standard flash.

just make sure the cam supports a remote control shutter release

Come to think about it, those old Finepix E550 compacts got more build-in flash juice than the recent models. At full power, they can deliver blinding light but now all those compact and even dSLR in-flash seems weak.
