Hi,

Newbie here... would appreciate some assistance on some quiries ;p
I have a cannon v3 which has been serving very well. But I have encounter a problem when it comes to getting a quick shot.

It feels very disappointing when the camera does not react fast enough to capture a moving objects... seems there is a delay in my camera getting a shot fast enough.

Are there any advise on how to erradicate this problem... I believe such quiries may have surface in this forum many times before, but please do help me out on this...

Thankyou,

Welcome to Clubsnap :)

Thankyou,

hello.

firstly, i believe that the problem is inherent in most point and shoot digital cameras. it's called shutter lag. you can do a quick search to find out more.

secondly, it could be due to the camera's slow auto-focusing especially under dim lighting conditions or at the far end of your camera's zoom.

yeah. shutter lag. cant remove, got to live with it, despite the other benefits of digicams

Thanks guys... will do a search on shutter lag for my camera model.

Cheers...
