New TAMRON Digital Lenses + S2?

Was at AP recently. The staff recommended me the latest 28-75mm model from TAMRON to complement the S2. See link:

Has anyone used this lens before? Your advice is much appreciated. Price is around $680.

nah...... just a few touches with it
i find it good, worth the money, fast AF even in low-light, abit slower than USM. cost around $600+ lor
