Well.. always like this time of the year. So much rumors of new prime lenses for Pentax..

One is the DFA*50mm F1.4 - under development.

Not sure if this is a real comparison, but the size difference.. Zzzz

Someone shared a poster display at the CP show.

With the 50 so big. i cannot imagine how big will be 85.

Good to see Pentax releasing new lenses. I am sure this 50 is going to be great, and the 85 will be as well.

Size, can't help lar Ranchy ... just look at the Canon, Zeiss, Sigma ... all upsize liao.
 

Looks like now instead of a since "Large aperture wide angle lens"
There are 2 lenses, one large aperture wide lens and a ultra wide lens.

I think Ricoh are trying to break the ultimate Zeiss Otus 55/1.4 record on size and weight! Hope it can break Otus resolution record at DXOmark as well.

The days of small and beautiful is over. The trend now is big and sexy :bsmilie: I wish I could afford some of these new lenses.
But I can't imagine someone carrying the 24, 50, 85 and 70-200 together. I guess that would be around 4kg in lens weight!
