Need recommendation for Tripod stand

Hi,

I am now using Canon 30D + 17-40 F4L + 70-200 F4L + 50 1.8 + 580 EX. My friend recommends me to use either Manfrotto 190 Pro B or 719B. I would appreciate your comment on these 2 tripods, and if possible please recommend more tripods. I am looking for lightweight tripod in the same price range.

In addition, please recommend which is better between ball head and pan head. Which model?

As I am going to Singapore next week, could anyone inform me the price (of the recommended tripod) and where to buy Manfrotto tripod stand in Singapore?

yup for lightweight go for carbon fibre 1, for budget go for slik (atleast for me :sweat: ) for quality-price go for manfrotto. not sure about 719B but 190 pro is pretty good but will weight near 2.5kg with a decent ball head iirc.

ball head or pan head? none are better than each other. for speed > ball head is the one but usually cost more compare to a pan head which can hold the same amount of weight.
