Need help with sunbirds

this is the best sunbird shot that I managed to get.

I will be assulting SBG again on Monday 14/2/05
would be great to meet people there.

Sun birds are one of those species that you will find even at noon to mid-afternoon when all the other birds are no longer active. Maybe thats why they are called sunbirds. Just stake out the heliconia patch and they will come.

You are right about the heliconia patch, but to my own observation (on 2 occasions) they will also go away after some time, perhaps to another heliconia patch. :dunno:
