Need help on EXIF and underexposure

1) I mistakenly set the time of my camera to 1 day ahead and took quite a number of photos, are there any softwares that can edit the EXIF of the jpeg files to change the date to correct date?

2) I had also set exposure compensation to -1 EV and forgot to set back resulting some of the photos to be underexposed. Is there any softwares that can correct this and how?

I don't have Photoshop, any other alternatives? I didn't shoot in RAW either.
