Need help on decision on Lens

Hi,

I'd know between these 2 lenses

Sigma 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 MACRO

Tamron AF28-300mm F/3,5-6,3 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO

which will you guys choose. Do you guys have any positive or negative comments about the above lenses?

anyway will choose the Tamron one. The predecessor of this lens, the non-Di version has won a number of awards. Saw this in an old Tamron Catelog.

Hmmm, I tried the Sigma 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 MACRO and found that the zoom ring is very tight. Is it normally like that?

So far, I have not found any place selling the Tamron one. Does anyone know anywhere that sells it for the Nikon mount?
