Need help - Canon 450D - display went off

I was using Canon 450D, and in between shoot the display went off and it stop working or capturing pictures. Everything was fine and it happens in between shoot.

Problem
When ever I press button, it open the flash window (don’t throw flash light though) even shows me the status bar info (eg ISO, f-stop) visible from view finder. But doesn’t take any pictures nor displays anything on LCD

Any idea what had happen to it?

If it's still under warranty, send it to Canon Service centre.

ya canon is last resource to talk to i wanted to understand what could have happend to ensure if i m missing out on something

sounds like it has short - circuited or something. you shoot under rain? or you try replacing the batt?

i have never heard about this kind of cases and this definitely have not happen to my 450d. perhaps you could ask the CSC for a detailed explanation.

Thanks evilorgi
Given to Canon centre, the problem was main board spoil in camera; they themselves don’t know how, why it happens?
But good thing... I am getting one to one Brand new replacement
