Need drybox/thristy hippo in Europe

I might be going over there during Summer/Winner (2nd half of the year)

Do I need a drybox, thristy hippo for my camera?

Any possibility of mold/fungus building up in cold countries?

I believe it should be fine. Tropical climates have higher humidity, like Singapore.

Cold country tend to have low humidity. Check the humidity the place you will going. Like Australia, Sydney, my friend no need dry cab to keep his camera gears as the humidity is around 40-50%RH.

In China, Beijing, my friend don't even need refrigerator to keep the food because it is cold.

Lets say that the probability is less for mold/fungus to build up there. I was posted to Shanghai for 2 years, and no dry cabinet. And just recently to Paris for a year and still no dry cabinet. Basically, if I need to use my lip gloss, I know that the air is relatively dry so you shouldn't need one. But be careful in summer when humidity seems to increase. If kiasu, at least bring some thirsty hippo for backup. But for me I'm sufficiently comfortable not to need one.
