Anyone using this notebook or any experts want to comment on this notebook?

Main uses will be for photo and video editing, surfing, word processing. No high-end gaming.

My 3+ yrs notebook died and repair is not cost efficient.

If not this, then any recommendation? Budget upto $1400 only, want at least a i3 processor.

Mac's are still on core 2 duo... I would get an alienware laptop if i wanted specs that rival pc.
If not its mac book pro with lightroom ;)

The 15" and 17" mac book pro's are using i5 and i7. 13" Mac books and 13" Mac book pro are using Core 2 duo's.

I would get a MBP if I have the $$$ too.
Yes, price is correct that's why it seems so attractive.

That indeed seems like a great price. Make sure it's not too good to be true. :)

I saw one with similar spec and it comes with the new MS office. But i think the offer is over. Toshiba.

Found the Samsung R480 too.

Quite similar specs to the MSI but with a better Nvidia graphics card and now comes with a free Canon all-in-one printer (MP258) free at $1399.
