just wondering.. is there going to be any fireworks on the eve, 8th Aug? theres some countdown party at the Esplanade area, with a "suprise finale"..

there is a new road between NTUC centre and one raffles quay... at the back yard of NTUC centre la... got one big ground there... i hope there is no crowd... here is my test shots...

got nice backgroud but hopefully ... not too small... hehheh ...both were taken with 17-18mm

The location seems fantastic with the city skyline in the background. Should I bring my tripod with me?

Understand the NDP fireworks are launched from the barge secured to side of the IR.
but for the Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2007 that fall on 17 – 18 Aug 2007, 9pm, is the firing location the same as the NDP fireworks? :think:

Yes i interested to know if thet are firing from same location?

The SFCelebratiobn on 17 and 18 Aug do they fire from the CBD buildings as well or just in front of the IR sitre?

PM you already. You definitely need a tripod with cable release and black card as option.

Ok I will bring my tripod and my remote control. I do not know how to shoot fireworks with a black card though

Venue : along promenade, just opps. ONE FULLERTON.

I will be wearing a vest and hat/cap.

Thinks to bring along:
1) DSLR of any brands or even Point-of-shoot with manual funtion
2) Sturdy tripod
3) Cable release
4) torch light
5) black card (optional)
