i've actually emailed them to enquire about shooting in N.S. The reply was....

You may recall that in my first email to you on 22/09/09 I had highlighted to you that there are 2 components of charges to a photography / filming request.
The charges are:
1) a photograhpy fee of $428 (inclusive of 7% GST) for a block of 4 hours
This cost is NOT waived.
2) venue booking fees
Waived if the photoshoot can be done within 2 hours. If photoshoot exceeds 2 hours, booking is subjected to a hiring fee.
Hence, you would need to pay $428 for the photoshoot. Hope the message is clearer now.
