my laptop (Vista) can't read my software CD, it goes to 'Burn my Disc' mode

Having problem with my ASUS laptop, I bought a D link IP camera and want to install the software, but when I place the CD in the drive, and want to open it, it goes to 'Burn my Disc' mode......it asks me if I want to burn this disc????

The last time I used the drive I indeed burned a disc

Can someone help me out? Thanks!

most likely either the drive or the cd is having issues...

to resolve the issue you have unless all your disc is showing this error, i recommend that you download your Dlink IP Cam driver from their website instead.
