This was just told to me by a trusted friend: a Malay staff working for his wife went Malaysia yesterday with family including elderly parents. 1 hour from Malacca, on the NS highway, he ran over some oranges on the highway. Turned out they had nails in them. Tire punctured. Then 3 bikes with men armed with clubs came from nowhere and demanded compensation for their damaged oranges. He refused. They wanted to bash his windscreen which in a knee jerk reaction he defended the windscreen and got hurt by the bats. In the end, he paid them RM 1,000.
Then he went to the police. The police nonchalantly told him "our country so big, how to find 3 bikes?"
