the editing isnt so bad, sure it's your first time? on which platform and what software?

just some comments. its a good try for first timer.
I think u just need to preview more of your videography .

I believe that you when you shoot, you must shoot with a focus in mind.
the make up and sabo is a bit shaking and the pan was too fast
( will be good for mtv )
the framing also play a part, like photography,
you need to know what you want, in and out of frame .
lighting is a bit harsh for the interview, can see the person struggling to open
her eye when she was being interview.
Details are everything.

Just keep on trying and push your limit the next time
Express edit is fun, and you definitely feel the pride or the harvest of your seed
when you see your work being presented during the dinner.

Hi...

think it is great for a first timer.....remember my first time shooting....like watching blair witch project.....anyway as Sam said, just keep shooting, will get better the more u shoot...think that if the editing was a little slower paced, it would look better. A balance of fast and slow editing is what makes a video interesting IMHO at least, nevertheless, great effort once again.

yeah. the 'sisters' were sooo mean.. hahah!

yep.i mean it's my first time to edit a chinese wedding (express highlights) .
I am using FCP5 on mac solasura.

lighting part. That's one of my weaknesses.
And you're right! Express is editing is fun. Really had fun doing it.
