What a gruelling end to this semester..havent molested my camera for close to 5 months now..feels good to finally be shooting again..shall start off with the one below..

#1 - Sail and Set
7164068992_fc296865ac_z.jpg

After a long hiatus, I'm back..back to basics..until i buy another CPL to replace a glass that fell into the sea..i wonder how..

This image was actually a test shot for the composition and somehow didnt notice the settings. It was only after downloading to the computer did i realise that my aperture was wide open and at a very high ISO, thus theimage noise in the clouds..but i think it all turned out well for a mistake :)

This sailing boat still at Changi Point ! From the Exif info you are shooting landscape at ISO 800, ISO 100 will be better less noise. If you wait slightly long until sunset time, the sky will bring you more color. Happy shooting.

#4 - Set fire to the sky
7182173710_d077c168c3_z.jpg

After a dull overcast evening, i became really hungry and wanted to go back asap after the sun had set as i don't see any potential "golden hour" light from past experiences at my favourite hunting ground. But just as i walked the path back to the carpark, the sky suddenly lit a bright red glow and out came my camera again. Thank goodness the route back to the carpark was a lil far.

#5 - Pipe Out

Wanted a higher tide so that the pipe would disappear into the sea but high tides are at ungodly hours lately so i guess this will just do.

This breakwater holds back many fond memories and it still does..it was where romance blossomed and also ended..couples are often seen on the breakwaters spending some quality time with the sound of waves crashing..actually i just wanted to say, thank you for the memories :)

such a wonder to find a spot pretty much untouched since ages, so near to the present landscape that made it a singapore icon..sunset coming from my 4 o'clock from this direction

#10 - Keep Spinning

Singapore Flyer from Gardens by the Bay (East). Landscapes and such are usually used with wide angle..however i have a knack for using a tele for it to focus on the details that i want and not those that i don't want.

It was scorching hot with very little shade in this new park. The trees are still young so i had to bear the heat while walking a good 7km around this huge park. Feels nice to have 2 weeks break before the hectic schedule of uni starts again. God bless and thanks for dropping by!

Had to climb over a small hill to get here but it was worth it. As you can see, Punggol Waterway Park or Waterpark in short, is still going through development and one can only wait and see how it will all turn out in a few years down the road.
