Very very minor scratch on the barrel, no manual, no box. Am selling it coz using 70-210mm f/4 now. No problem with this lens at all. Used it on my D70.
It's the non-D version. For the benefit of those uninformed, D and non-D Nikkor lenses only have a technical difference when it comes to flash metering, and it's not significant. There's a thread on CS if you need more info (http://forum.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=76479).
This lens is highly recommended by Ken Rockwell in his review for the D version (www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/7021056.htm)
