i was trying my luck.. mebbe u scanned them or something..
nevertheless i will try researching on the place and mebbe will visit when i go Melbourne again

I tried looking for the albums but couldn't find it anywhere. :embrass::embrass:

That was a very long time ago and the pics were on film. I think it was in 1991 or so.

1991?? that is revealing of one's age.. but it would be good to see how it looks like at that time.

Haha, I was only a small girl at that time. :bsmilie::bsmilie:

I actually visited many places in Victoria as I was there for 1 to 2 months (can't remember whether 1 or 2) the first time I visited. My uncle and his family were PRs (now citizens) and they drove me around.

Really like the lights and shadows...lots to play around with. The dark clouds looming along Great Ocean Rd are just spectacular. For once, rain is good! Fav ones are the man with bicycle and some cafe portraits. The sigma 12-24 seems like a great one to use. Any other lens with similar range and quality? im poor

Thanks alot and yeah... opportunity limitless over there with the great light.
If you are looking at ultra wides, dun think there are many options cheaper than 12-24 on a full frame body. I used to own a sigma 10-20mm which i think is cheaper, but that is for cropped sensors only. The other options like the 16-35L from canon is way better in terms of image quality and is brighter with a constant aperture of f2.8, but of coz with the better quality comes a greater price

Don't think we were there..
might decide to visit the next time i'm there if it's good
any pictures to share of the place?

Sovereign Hill replicates a gold mining town, its like a junior theme park. You'd find a lot of rustic details and try out your luck with mining gold.....

Hi Shawn207,

Winter weather in Melbourne tends to be cloudy, windy and a bit wet.
And very foggy in the morning too.
But Melbourne weather is very unpredictable.
You may get blue skies in the morning and dark gloomy clouds
a 1 hour later !

You can check the weather at the following site :
