Hi,

Going up to Genting Highlands, first time using 350D. What setting will be good for such misty and foggy place - outdoor shot?

For mist and fog - none.

stand closer to shoot... dun use a long lens...
when standing inside misty / foggy conditions, avoid using flash - same reason you are advised not to use headlights in mist / fog, all you would see is the reflection of the light on the mist / fog immediately infront of you.

get ready a fog lamp...

i think generally the pics would be somewhat dark also... (the fog & mist = 18% grey)

use high iso, open aperture.
