Just a few shots from the Metric show @ Esplanade. Surprised to see no one else has posted anything on the forum - ushers basically said photography OK as long as no flash used! Wish all artists/promoters were so relaxed

beautiful shots bro! especially love the combination of colours, lighting and lens flares in No.6. I shoot gigs too but it's amazing how you can get sharp pics when you use manual focus 50 f1.2.

@polyester - honestly #6 a bit of a fluke. quite challenging to shoot the MF in concert setting and the uber-lens flare was unintended. honestly thought it was too washed out when i saw the preview in camera, but examining it on the big screen i thought might be worth playing with it a bit

@silentseth - i *never* stand higher than everyone since i'm quite short #7 was really just sticking my arm above the audience and shooting a burst to capture what i could (hence no upper body, but thats more because i didn't pack a wide enough lens).
