Merdeka Race - 25th Aug 2007

Just to share some shots from the Merdeka Race I went to last month.
Didn't have much opportunity to shoot the babes, but had 12 hours to shoot the cars!

This was my first try at a car race doing panning shots.
Day shots were taken with 70-200 2.8L IS
Night shots were taken with 70-300 IS USM

Hey! I was there too! But still haven't got time to do up the photos to upload.

Just a friendly note/reminder: You're not supposed to use flash during the night race because the drivers' eyes are acustomed to the darkness and will be blinded temporary when your flash fires

Oh is it? No one told me, and first time I was at such an event. Will take note of that, thanks. Thought it was allowed cos many people were using flash also. Paiseh.

Well, it is not a written law or rule but it is a courtesy not to use flash just for your info.
