The most awaited workshop in Singapore is now set and ready to roll.

As requested by Manny and Kharu we made the 2 half days into a one whole day workshop for each batch so that all batch can have morning photoshooting with Kharu.

Below is the schedule for batch one, two, and three.

FEB 06 - WHOLE DAY
FEB 07 - WHOLE DAY
FEB 09 - WHOLE DAY

Brief outline of the course:

Meeting Place: Costa Sand Sentosa
Shooting Themes: 3

7:30 Morning: Outdoor Shoot

-Brief lecture before shoot (30 minutes)
-Shoot with Kharu (3-4 hours)
-Directing the model
-Camera settings
-Finding the light
-The thought process
-Hands on instructions

LUNCH BREAK 12NN

1:30 PM onwards: Post-Processing
Seminar room in costa sands sentosa

-Manny’s general workflow
-Color enhancement
-Light enhancement
-Making the subject Pop Out
-Changing/creating "moods" of pictures

Requirements for each participants:

Digital SLR camera
Laptop with CS3 or CS4
Please bring your laptop chargers and extra memory card.
Travel light and do not bring some unnecessary things or stuff.
We will find a place to secure our laptop or other belongings in the area.

If someone who can bring a california sun bounce preferably 4x6 professional it will be great.

PLEASE BE ON TIME. LATE PARTICIPANTS WILL SING AND DANCE IN FRONT

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much is the workshop?
A: S$290.00

Q: Do we need to pay in full?
A: NO. you need to pay the deposit first of S$100 for the slot reservation and the rest must be paid before January 18 to our designated current account.

Q: How do i know which batch i belong to.
A: We already emailed the batch which the participants belongs to. if you want to know you batch number please email us.

Q: Where is Venue and who is the model?
A: Venue is in sentosa costa sands. Model is Kharunisia Jazmin. We have reserved a function room in costa sands for the post processing session in the afternoon.

Q: Do i need to bring my laptop and do i need CS3 or CS4?
A: YES

Q: what lens do i need to bring?
A: we recommend medium telephoto lenses. otherwise its up to your style if you want to shoot wide but we recommend lenses with focal lengths of 50mm to 135mm.

Q: How come its now a whole day workshop.. before it was 2 days?
A: Yes before it was 2 days half day. At first we did not expect that this workshop will be overwhelming. so we managed to make it a whole day so that Manny and Kharu can conduct the workshop for everybody as they only have limited days in Singapore.

Q: Do we have parking space in costa sands sentosa? is it for free?
A: Yes we managed to get free parking. just park your cars outside. you can actually park on the side of the road outside.

Q: Do we have free lunch? or maybe a free high tea?
A: I am arranging now for this. every penny will be given back in terms of food or souvenir.

Q: Can i video the workshop?
A: Absolutely NO. as a professional ethic and courtesy we dont allow any video taken during workshop especially on the post processing part.

Q: What if i already paid in full and suddenly i need to cancel?
A: you can cancel before Jan 18 and we will refund your money. after January 18 there will be a S$100 charge upon cancellation. If you wish to sell your slot you may do so. Just notify us for the name updates.

Q: I am a beginner and know nothing about post processing.
A: This is your chance to learn. this is a workshop and there are so many pros who registered. do not hesitate to ask questions and we will try to help you as much as possible.

I think you guys will totally enjoy the workshop...... I sat in on Manny's talk at Photo World in Manila last week and he is a great speaker......... very candid and speaks in a way that is easily understood

Funny guy too...... and his model is HOT

Logistic and food seem to be a problem.

Please advise if we need to be there at 7am? Or the briefing for 30mins start at 7:30am to 8am?
Exact location of the place, or room where we suppose to have our briefing?
Unfortunately there is no lunch, please indicate is the next convenience place to get lunch?

I am on the 3rd batch on 9th Feb, for the convenience of the photographers who do not drive, can PM to arrange.
I stay at Woodlands.

With these clearer, we can keep the dance and sing to a minimum, get on with the real course.
