NORWICH V UNITED
7 May 2016 at 7:45:00 PM

Our record against clubs at the other end of the table is bad with only 1 win!

Its crunch time, although we need Arsenal and/or Man City to slip up in their last 2 games, Man U needs to continue its winning ways for the last remaining games. We shall beat Norwich this evening, 0-1 will be enough, as long as 3 points in the bag. Go MU Go

Starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Darmian; Carrick, Rooney; Mata, Lingard, Memphis; Martial.

subs: Romero, McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Fosu-Mensah, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Januzaj.

De Gea forced a save early in the 4th min as of now! Zzz...

*Anthony Martial suffered a problem in the warm-up and is replaced in the starting XI by Ander Herrera.

GOAL Norwich 0-1 Man Utd (72 mins). Wayne Rooney breaks into the box and holds off a challenge before teeing up Juan Mata to finish

FULL-TIME Norwich 0-1 Man Utd. Juan Mata lifts the Reds within a point of rivals City in race for the top 4 ...

Awaits city to drop points ...

Either Arsenal beat and/or draw with Man City, we will benefit and be able to take at least 4th position to qualify for UCL next year. Like I said, one nil win over Norwich is all that matters. We win the 2 remaining games after the results tonight, we will go through. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Man City will be pressured cooker to beat Arsenal at home at all costs.

Sounds like an exciting match for many clubs supporters..

Yes, excellent results to our favor, Man City drew with Arsenal. We shall beat West Ham and AFC Bournemouth and complete our step to UCL. If Arsenal falters in its last game, who knows, we may well be in third and achieve auto qualification. Man City got themselves to be blamed in their predicament now. There were so many chances to kill the game off. That shows the team has not enough depth and has to be overhauled by its new manager, Pep Guardiola, who incidentally may miss playing UCL football next year. As of now, all Man Utd fans can breath a sign of relief and given this opportunity to aim for UCL. We control our destiny now.

Yes now the ball is in our court its up to us how to play it ... Hammers will not let us have a breeze as they are trying to squeeze into euro as well ...

It will be good if we auto qualify ... need Arsenal to slip but rather low chance ...

Whether ball is in our court or not, I don't have enough faith that we will take the initiative with the way we play currently.

Pray that the Hammers not in form later...

Threw away a 2-1 lead in 4mins ...

Out of top 4 unless city lost and we win!

I sense that city lost and we might lose the last game too lol
Just sack LVG

He will still feel proud if winning the FA cup. Stupid ax..

Hope we win at least FA Cup to end our miserable season on a slighter better note ... last of LVG n his philosophy in which till now no one knew what it was ...

LVG has lost what he has to do, not because we have key players injured, his claim, to finish off games we should win all season. All the games we won by 1-0, look at them, no change and no improvement. SIGN, we were mistakenly brought to dream about winning the last remaining games as god given opportunity. Sadly, the result is otherwise. We faultered yet again under LVG management. IMO, there is also only one dimension to Anthony Martial play, that is to bring the ball and run against defenders. What else can he do, shooting, dribbling, side-step and play one two threes passing. There was not any of these skills from the French international. Most of his assists and goals resulted by this technique with defender being outrun by him. There is not much flexibility to his style. He mis-kicks often, run into defenders and lost the ball and show his unbeliever facial expression. And you think he is the only current player who can score for us. So pathetic and miserable. How are we going to withstand another year with LVG. MU board should just pay him off and get another manager.

Next season away kit is nice so tempted to buy! New Kit
actually it looks the same as the current training kit. Just changed from AON to Chevrolet.. Even Adidas is not putting in much attention to United now.

LVG said its not realistic to expect MU to be EPL champions this year and "we" fail and not "he" failed the aim of qualifying for UCL. And we still have FA Cup to win. What excuse to cover himself, contradictory to what he said that we still consider "success" if we won FA Cup. Look at Leicester, Spurs, even Arsenal came back from behind to secure at least 3rd placing. Sadly, he still did not see that he is the major culprit of MU team as manager. If the MU Board refuses to pay him off and says that no other better manager can be found to replace LVG, then honestly now, we shall be looked doom next year already. With the power of Pep G., A. Wenger, Spurs manager, Chelsea revamp, IMO i really do not see much improvement even if we spend another 250 million pounds on new players under LVG next year. If Man City falters again and we are lucky to go into UCL, I will be very happy but not with LVG remaining for another year. Most EPL soccer critics and hosts have the same opinion of getting off LVG period. Do note he will retire in another season time.
