"Man City will kick United's butt this season with all the new players they signed esp Balotelli." said one City fan.

I said: "Dream on. None of City's players be willing to pass ball to Balotelli cause he's not only unproven but he makes GBP200,000 per week, so much more than his team mates. No wonder Tevez wants to retire!"

Ok Tonight will be our first game!

At 3am.

Sir Alex ready to roll again! He famously fulfilled his vow to knock Liverpool off their perch, now Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to do the same to Chelsea.

"Chelsea - having won the league last season - are going to be the favourites. We have to try and knock them off their perch."

- Sir Alex Ferguson

Ole excited by Chicharito.

"The hardest thing to defend against is players who know when to run, how to time their run and always think about scoring goals."

- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Berba itching for action.

Meanwhile Ferdinand to miss first month!

Yay a good start for us! A 3-0 win all thanks to Berbatov,Fletcher,Giggs!!!
Dreamt that we won 8-0! =p Hahaha...

United 3 Newcastle 0

Sir Alex seeking goal rush! The United manager, no doubt mindful of Chelsea's margin of victory over West Brom on Saturday (6-0), declared Dimitar Berbatov in particular should have netted at least a hat-trick against Newcastle. But the Bulgarian still earned the boss' praise after scoring the all-important first goal and leading the line superbly.

Scholes still loving his craft The patience was important in the first period when Sir Alex Ferguson’s men were tasked with breaking down belligerent opposition; the pleasure then came after strikes from Dimitar Berbatov and Darren Fletcher sent the Reds into the break 2-0 up. Passing, of course, was the key to victory – one of the best from Scholes was saved until late on when he chipped his second assist of the game to Ryan Giggs.

Last and not least Hernandez enjoys home debut!
It will be a perfect start for him if he were to score!

Damn! Scholes is getting better and better as he ages.

just like a damn good bottle of red wine.

it just gets better with aging :D

Scholes is really hard to replace. Where to find someone with his vision and passing skills?

 Maybe we should set him a retirement age at 50? Till then we might find someone similar?:bsmilie:

Mesut Ozil has completed his move to Real Madrid.
Good luck to you Ozil, your butt will keep the subs bench nicely warmed. :bsmilie:

There were three games that ended with 6-0 victories over the weekend.... Man Utd is leading Fulham 1-0 at half time.

We lost at Fulham the last two seasons, hope we can register a win today. :D

Giggs should have taken the penalty instead of Nani.
Think O'Shea can take a better penalty than Nani too.

That's a costly game due to silly mistakes. :(

Wah lao missed penalty is a disaster! ;( Yeah Giggs should have taken the penalty.

Cant blame Nani, moreover he scored before in penalty kicks before (2008 CL final). Our midfield is basically overran easily. We need strong central midfielders, and strikers are too weak now.
