wcube still at Adelphi? I thought that they have gone 'shopless'?

Here is the announcement from their website: "Closure of Retail Store! Please kindly note that we no longer operate a retail store and all orders are only conducted online. Thank you."

just get it from eastgear. 401 c/w 4x 2500 powerex for 59 bucks.

oh..I didn't know they went shopless liao..
most pple knew w3cube before eastgear..

had a few bad experience with eastgear..so I never recommend my friends to buy from them..
but seems like the choice is limited now..haha

in any case...Maha is the choice..regardless of the shop.. :)

Ya, me too. Raymond is the guy. But their forum seems very very quite now. (or not existant)

I saw on www.eastgear.com that 401 is selling 59 without any batteries. So is it true what u have mentioned? :)

yah...it's 79 for 401 + 8pcs Sanyo 2500mAh AA...and 59 for 401 alone.

they are all the same lar

I am using SAnyo 2500s, obtained from the exchange around December last year.

I was under the impression that even these new ones cannot hold a charge, as I used then with the Sanyo refresh charger overnight. After a full charge, using them to power a Sanho Compactdrive still returned a 'lo batt' warning, and it couldn't even initiate a copy to hard disk.

Then I tried the same cells with my old Rayovac 1 hour charger (that one that produces intense amounts of heat).

After 1 hour of charging, these cells powered 10 cycles of 1gb copying in the same compactdrive.

Could there be a problem with the Sanyo charger?

No bro.. The Sanyo 2500mah really have problems(mainly not holding charge). You can do a search on it. But its ok, now they have an exchange centre located around herren shops there. Hopethis helps you. ;)
