Maha C801D - Power Adapter Blinking

Bought one during IT show a few months back. Noticed just now what when I plug the DIN to the charger, the green light indicator on the power adapter blinks on and off continuously.

I can't quite remember if this was the case before but I always thought it was steady. Can anybody with a C801 confirm?

... asking coz it seems to me that hours after the batteries have been put in, the LED indicators still are blinking. So something seems to be wrong.
