Was at Redang for a short holiday with my wife and kids. While they rested, went around the resort, and spotted this HUGE JS crawling up the wall as the gardener was watering the surrounding plants. Its really huge and using my flash head as scale, its length is about 3.5cm long.
Could be the same species I took at PRP (Macro in Rain series) when it ate a sac spider, but looking at the abdomen, quite similar with white patches but not entirely the same.
Anyway, here are the pics. Did not use the Raynox as I did not want to get too close. Used the 6T and Sigma CU instead...19cm safety distance.
FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, F8, various speeds, 2 diffuse flash, handheld or supported.
#1: Face on. 1/25s, supported on railing, No flash.
#2: Another front shot
1/160s, 2 diffuse flash
#3: You Stink!
1/25s, supported railing, no flash
#4: Hairy legs
1/25s
