Macro Adaptors

Hi everyone

I am using a Canon 400D and have an 18-55 and a 50mm. I am looking to do a simple product shoot soon but the products are small, about 3cm in diameter. I am thinking of getting some sort of macro adaptor for it. Here are my options

1) Extension tube (The no-AF sort)
2) Reverse ring
3) Lens to lens ring

Or alternatively, I could rent a macro lens.

Which would be the best option?

Get a dedicated macro lens or get a cheap Raynox.
Don't forget the lights and a light tent.

#1 & #2 is good enough, a macro lens will be better.

It's only a one-off shoot, I don't think I need a dedicated macro lens yet.
