anyone using CS2 or CS3 on a MB 2.16Ghz?
It's my 1st venture into Mac and thinking of getting a black MB.
The MBP is way outta my budget
MI selling the MB with free 2GB Ram upgrade.

Am not intensive user of PS...just simple touch-ups only

Flys like a rocket. Intel Core 2 Duo and CS3 is made for each other.

It's perfect! ;p

The MB is more than good enough for PS work. The only drawback is its smaller screen estate, but if you are on a budget, it'll do. I'm running PS CS2 on a Powerbook G4, and it is already very competent.

my only quibble is the superdrive that only supports DVD +DL as compared to MBP which supports both formats.

There's really not much difference between DVD+R DL or DVD-R DL.
All you have to do is just buy the correct DVD will do.

Also, a DL DVD cost like around $4 a piece nowadays.
