Eeewww... nice green!
The flash seems to be too harsh on the first shot. You might want to try covering your flash with a thin tissue paper to bring it down. Heheh, will prefer a portrait shot tho.
The second shot looks good, just that the newspaper/ or paper at the bottom right corner... should be chop chop away.
