Lightroom Question

Hi guys,

wanna ask,

if I want to move folders/pictures from one catalog to the other, what is the recommended way to do it? I know must avoid pitfall of doing it outside of LR..soo..?

Right now, I need to move some folders from my incubator catalog to my raw catalog.

Should I import from my raw catalog, or use export when in my incubator catalog, or something else all together? Thanks!

1. Select the respective folder
2. export it as a catalogue
3. open catalogue where folder should be shifted to
4. import folder catalogue
5. delete folder catalogue

my question: why keep to separate catalogues?

I realised I shld have just read the site again, too long nvr move from incubator out cause too many backlogs~~~

Woa quite complicated... i keep everything in once catalogue... for showing the best i have collections
